China Idiom: 天衣无缝(Tiān yī wú fèng)

Last post we learned Chinese Idiom: 不寒而栗 (bù hán ér lì), and in this page let’s learn China Idiom: 天衣无缝(Tiān yī wú fèng), which means flawless as a heavenly robe---Natural and perfect. And usually people use it to describe a well-conceived plan or something which is faultless, most often, written work.


Story of China Idiom: 天衣无缝(Tiān yī wú fèng)

Long, long ago, there was a man called Guo Han. One summer night, it was so hot and stuffy in his room that he couldn’t fall asleep. So he carried his bed out of the room and put it in the courtyard. He lay on his back and watched the twinkling stars. Suddenly he saw a beautiful lady in white descend gently from the sky.
